What is Summer Fun and Learning at Country School?

Kids can’t get enough of being on Country School’s 23-acre campus. Beyond the academic year, many students–those who attend this Country School as well as those from other schools and neighboring towns–choose to spend their summer days at this private school summer camp to participate in the many camps the school offers through the Summer Fun and Learning program. From exploding volcanoes and working at the pottery wheel to hiking nature trails and performing in plays, Country School’s Summer Fun and Learning offers an array of options for children as young as 3 and as old as 14.

What Do You Do at Summer Fun and Learning Camp?

Summer Fun and Learning camps are offered from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily with the option to attend Lunch Bunch until 12:30 p.m. The program begins the week of June 24 and ends the week of July 29; students are welcome to participate in as many of the five-weeklong sessions as they like.

Another option for summer camp in Madison, CT, is through Madison Racquet. Country School is partnering once again with Madison Racquet for their Multi Sports and Specialized Sports Camps with programs that run from the week of June 10 to the week of August 12. Like Summer Fun and Learning, these camps are also offered as both half-day (morning or afternoon) or full-day options with children swimming and playing soccer, tennis, and baseball.
