Application Steps

  • Step 1: Visit Our School

    Register for a School Day Open House

    December 11, January 29, and February 26
    Please join the admission team and members of our community
    for a School Day Open House. Tour the campus while classes are in session, learn about the admission process, and see our programs in action. This event is free and open to the public. Bring a friend!      


    On-campus Tour or a Virtual Presentation

    We welcome you to schedule an on-campus tour or a virtual presentation by completing this inquiry form. Our Admission Team will contact you to schedule your visit.


  • Step 2: Apply Online

    Submit the online application by February 3, 2025 for notification by March 3, 2025.  

    Families applying to Grades K-8 may be eligible for financial assistance. Clarity Financial Aid applications are due February 3, 2025.  You can access financial aid applications at Clarity or from our website.  Qualifying families will receive notification of their award along with their notification packet. The Country School admits students without regard to interest in financial assistance.
  • Step 3: Schedule a Student Visit

    Admission visits for PreSchool, PreKindergarten, and Kindergarten will be held on January 25, 2025, and families will schedule their visit online via the application portal.

    Applicants to 1st-8th Grade shadow for a full school day in their current grade. While on campus, they experience classes, complete admission assessments, and engage in an informal interview with a member of the Admission Committee.


  • Step 4: Additional Application Requirements

    • Standardized test results are required for students entering grades 5-8.
    • Acceptable tests include: ISEE, state mastery assessments, ERB, and SSAT.
    • This year Country School will host SSAT standardized testing on the following dates:
      • November 9, 2024 
      • December 7, 2024
    • Once enrolled, students may also be asked to complete a placement assessment.
    Prospective students interested in taking the ISEE or SSAT, may register online at iseetest.org or ssat.org.

    The Country School admits students without regard to interest in financial assistance.
  • Step 5: Admission Notification

    A completed application is due February 3, 2025 for a March 5 notification.

    After February 3, 2025, we are on a rolling admission based on space available.
  • Step 6: Enrollment Agreement

    Enrollment contracts and deposits are due April 1, 2025.
