Girls' Soccer 6-1 Win Over Williams School

Nothing is better than an October day with sunshine and highs in the 70s unless the weather is equally nice and you find yourself at a soccer game with YOUR team prevailing. Tuesday’s game was an exciting moment of what it means to play as a team, learn new positions, and work with new teammates. For the first time this season, we had fifth graders Mia (defender) and Dia (striker) on the field, Charlotte playing midfield, and Theodora in the goal. These changes showed the girls' ability to diversify their play and work together for an end victory. In the first half, Veronica, Claire, and Quinn made impressive goals, while in the second half, Claire took two more, and Quinn scored a second resulting in an end score of 6-1.  Teammates, coaches, and parents couldn’t have been happier with how the girls stepped up and helped each other. We are looking forward to our next game at home on Thursday, October 10th against Foote. Go Owls!
