Owls Varsity Ultimate Frisbee Start 1-0!
Congratulations to the Owls on a fantastic 1-0 start to the ultimate season! In our opening away game against Foote, the team took an 8-5 lead into halftime before locking in defensively and shutting out the Falcons in the second half for a decisive 15-5 victory.
The win was powered by standout defensive work from Will C. and two incredible layout catches by Zach, who finished with 3 goals. Captain Nathaniel led the offense with 3 goals, and 5 assists. Kieran contributed 4 assists, including a sibling connection with Quinn for a memorable score.
Veronica and Griffin each had strong all-around performances—Griffin with 3 goals and an assist, and Veronica with 2 goals and 1 assist. Mathew made a highlight-worthy sequence with a defensive block followed by an immediate score. Newcomer Will P notched his first assist, while Jace added both a score and an assist in a versatile showing. Closing out the game was Harper with a beautiful forehand assist that was tipped from Quinn to Zach to end it!
