Country School Boys Varsity Basketball Shows Major Improvement Against Foote

In a rematch against Foote, the Country School Boys Varsity Basketball team showed tremendous growth, falling 30-53 in a hard-fought game on their home court. With a full team and a renewed focus, the boys demonstrated significant improvement on both ends of the floor.
The offense was led by Will Pappas, who paced the team’s scoring efforts. Although turnovers were an issue in the first half, the team adjusted by slowing down the offense and finding better scoring opportunities. One of the biggest highlights was the team’s ability to break Foote’s tough full-court press—a major step forward from the first matchup.
It was encouraging to see the progress made since the previous game, as the boys played with greater composure and confidence on both offense and defense. The team continues to learn and grow, and this performance was a clear sign of their hard work paying off.
