Country School Overcomes Short Bench to Defeat Williams, Improve to 6-0

Despite missing some key starters, the Country School Varsity Boys Basketball Team adapted and secured a dominant 39-17 win over Williams, marking their second victory over them this season. The team’s ability to adjust on the fly and play as a unit was key to maintaining their undefeated record.
Nathaniel and Jace led the offense, organizing plays and pushing the tempo. Most of the team’s scoring came off strong defensive rebounds, leading to fast-break points. The pick-and-roll between Jace and Kieran helped establish an early lead, while in the second half, Nathaniel took over at point guard, using isolation plays to create scoring opportunities in the paint.
Defensively, the team’s zone was highly effective, clogging the paint and limiting Williams’ ability to get layups or second-chance points. With another well-rounded effort, TCS moves to 6-0 and looks ahead to their next challenge against Foote next week.
