Country Tennis: 7-1 Win Over Hamden Hall

Coach Johnson
Last week's 7-1 win at Hamden Hall has us off to a quick 2-0 start to the season. Congratulations!
In our Hamden Hall win, players stepped up to play tough matches and showed terrific grace, resilience and determination. We were missing Luke, who, though injured, came to the match to cheer us on, and, thankfully, Oliver stepped into the number one singles slot and played a very solid match. Claire at two singles won her match 8-7 in nailbiter of a tie-break, and Will and Neil won their singles matches comfortably at three and four. In doubles, the mighty team of Oakley and Guiliana combined in an impressive win at one doubles, and Mia and Henry and Emma and Maybe took home decisive doubles victories too. We'll hope to carry this momentum into our first home match tomorrow afternoon.
