Country School Takes on Williams

Jason Wainio
It was a very blustery day as the Owls took the field against The Williams School.  Although the score did not favor the home team, it was clear that so many players have made such impressive strides since the beginning of the year.  Frankie DeFlippo and Kai Lee formed a dynamic pairing on the left side of the field.  Max Perl continued to be a solid part of the defensive backline.  Jace Coassin added another goal to his season tally in the second half of the game.  Caitlin Stanat delivered a great cross that Jace was able to redirect into the opposition goal.  Caitlin and fellow 7th grader, Quinn Freeman, were able to join the game in the second half and give some rest to the players who had played the entire first half.  Coach Birdsall and I really appreciate the dedication and the growth of the players out on the field during this game.  Keep up the great work!
