Girls' Volleyball vs Elm City Prep

Coach Behr
In a thrilling five-set match, the Country School girls' volleyball team secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Elm City Prep in what was their very first match ever. Despite it being the debut competition for all of Country School’s players, the team showcased determination, heart, and teamwork from start to finish.
Country School came out strong, winning the first two sets with solid teamwork and high energy. The girls displayed excellent serves and rallies, setting the tone early in the match. However, Elm City Prep responded in the third and fourth sets, evening the score and swinging momentum back in their favor.
Heading into the fifth and final set, both teams were eager for victory. Country School regrouped, demonstrating resilience and support for one another. Their effort paid off as they pulled together to win the decisive set 15-11, capturing their first win in their very first outing.
Every player from Country School contributed to this exciting and competitive match, with the entire team giving it their all. The victory was a testament to their hard work and determination, making this a game to remember.
Up next, the Country School girls will take on Christian Heritage on October 21st. The team is eager to continue their journey and build on this exciting first victory. Go Country!
