Girls' Varsity Basketball Second Road Win In A Week!

The TCS girls' varsity team is riding high after securing their second road win in a week! Fresh off the long weekend, the team traveled to Hopkins on Wednesday to face the Hilltoppers and quickly shifted into high gear. Mia and Theodora served as game captains, and Claire ignited the team with her tenacious defense and skillful ball handling. Her three early steals led to fast-break opportunities, and she found Anna (7), who capitalized with three quick buckets, including a long-range three-pointer, giving TCS an early 7-0 lead.
By halftime, Theodora (2), Katelin (6), and Maddie (2) had all contributed offensively, and the team had found its rhythm, rebounding effectively, sharing the ball, and spreading the scoring around. Claire (8) and Katie (2) took over in the third quarter, grabbing rebounds and lighting up the scoreboard, while Charlie and Liv provided crucial minutes and smart defensive play. Mia (6), a smart and steady force on the court all season, scored three consecutive buckets in the fourth quarter thanks to teammates' sharp passing and her ability to run the floor well.
With evenly balanced scoring efforts and unselfish play, this win was one the team can be very proud of as they head into the final stretch of the season. Mark your calendars! The season culminates with a home match against OLM Prep on March 5th at 3:45 on the DeFrancis court.
