After a chance meeting with a Country School alumna at Ashlawn Farm in Old Lyme, we decided to tour their PreK for our oldest daughter. We were so impressed we registered our son for PreSchool the same year. Year after year we have been continually pleased with our children's education that includes amazing hallmarks of each grade and unique all-school experiences like the MacLane Poetry Recitations, outdoor education, and reading buddies to name a few. Eleven years later, our daughter graduated 8th Grade and our son will graduate this year. The good news is that our little one, who also started in PreSchool, is now in 5th Grade so we shall continue to enjoy this community for another few years.
